Old houses are never square. Fitted shelving, cupboards and a press for that alcove nobody knows what to do with, all made to fit the space you actually have.

Exposed dovetails, solid timber, and joints you can be proud of when the doors are open.

A word about Scottish timber

Oak, ash, wych elm, Scots pine, birch and gean (wild cherry) are all native here, and Perthshire is Big Tree Country, home of the Birnam Oak and the Dunkeld larch.

Perth cabinet makers once used laburnum so much they called it “Scotch walnut”. If you have a timber in mind, ask about it.
